Fast-Steady-Xpress wishes to move all of your goods to the best of our capabilities. We will always blanket wrap all furniture, properly pack and secure your load prior to transport. In order to best insure this process we require your help in being best prepared for us. Most items we will be able to move but there are some items that we will not due to either insurance or safety regulations or impossibilities. The following is a general list of items that are either not insurable under our policies or items that we will not accept liability for. FSX will not move any household plants that are not contained, nor will we accept any responsibility for damages occurring to your plants. We cannot accept responsibility for any natural stone furniture, marble, limestone, etc. FSX will not accept any responsibility for any particle board furniture, K.D. or RTA products. FSX will not accept responsibility for any items within a box or container unless the box or container was physically damaged by FSX.

Fast-Steady-Xpress:

• Will not move any dressers, entertainment centers, wine racks, armoires, curio cabinets, china cabinets, buffets, chest of drawers, etc. unless they have been emptied of their contents.
  
• All items that require disassembly or assembly have been disclosed by the customer to the proper FSX personal prior to arrival of the moving crew.
  
• In the event any item to be moved cannot be moved safely from the area where the item is located or to an area where the item is to be moved or relocated. Fast-Steady-Xpress will not be liable for any damages to the item or to the walls, floors, stairs railings, ceilings, or other appurtenances if the customer insist on moving the item after being advised by FSX personnel that said item cannot be moved safely without causing damage. If you wish to have the item moved, we may attempt to conduct the task once a hold harmless agreement has been signed.

In order to best protect your valuables, FSX insists that all valuables, jewelry, currency, cameras, cell phones and other hand carry items, be secured by you prior to our arrival. FSX requires the time on premise to ensure that all your moveable items are properly packaged and secured to prevent possible damages from transit. FSX reserves the right to refuse to move any item deemed not to be properly or securely packaged. Upon completion of the off load, FSX reserves the right to go over your articles with you to ensure that all items were moved to your satisfaction and that the move was completed without incident. Your failure to note any damages to items upon completion of the move and after clear delivery receipt have been obtained by FSX will result in FSX not being held responsible for any damages reported or discovered at a later date. In the rare event that an item sustained damages during the process of the move, you will be required to clearly note the incident on the paperwork that you are signing. All claims get processed through our offices directly. Under no circumstances do we discount the cost of our services in lieu of a damaged item. In the event of an item sustaining damages, we will elect to either repair the item or pay out at 60 cents per pound. Additional insurance is available through www.movinginsurance.com. All claims amounts exceeding your selected coverage must be agreed to by both parties as acceptable and reasonable before any greater reimbursements are made.

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards, cash, money orders and company checks for established accounts. All deliveries services are to be paid in full prior to the service date. All moves are to be paid in full for the estimated amounts upon arrival of our crews on the day of the move. All credit card transactions require an authorized signature form for these charges.

A 25% non refundable deposit or the first three hours of your job, whichever is greater will be required with your booking. If you need to change your date for any reason with less than one weeks notice a $50.00 date change charge will be assessed.
